The result of obesity will remain a greater hurdle of development for children consuming fast food. The problem of childhood obesity in the United States has grown considerably in recent years. Obesity is one of the easiest medical conditions to recognize but most difficult to get by. Overweight children are much more likely to become overweight adults unless they adopt and maintain healthier patterns of eating and exercise. The biggest concern with children is the amount of exposure they get to these bad eating habits. Their busy parents use drive thru as a quick meal, and as a reward for good behavior. Their teachings show children that these meals are to be earned and give them a satisfying feeling while eating them. This helps develop a psychological connection that makes children feel more dependants on this food.
